Study this example situation:

	Diane doesn’t travel much these days. She prefers to stay at home.   But she used to travel a lot. She used to go away two or three times a year.   She used to travel a lot = she travelled a lot regularly in the past, but she doesn’t do this any more.

	+	I			used	to do.

		Did	you		use	to do
	If we say something used to happen we are talking about repeated events and actions in the past, usually things that happened a long time ago and are now finished. To express this we can use ‘used to’.
