Dear friends,

Let me congratulate you with the start of 18th International Youth Academic Conference “Socioeconomic, Humanitarian and Political Trends of Globalisation: View of the Young.”

Modern youth is an essential intellectual, cultural and professional reserve of the Russian society, whose quality of life and development influences fortunes of Russia. Understanding its role and responsibility for training highly qualified specialists, our Institute has cherished and developed experience and traditions of working with the younger generation. This year the Conference, which has been held eighteen times, has extended its boundaries and received the status of the international youth conference.

We believe that reports made by pupils, students, post-graduates and young scientists from Chelyabinsk, our and other regions of Russia, and invitation of our foreign colleagues to the dialogue will become the basis for exchanging opinions on all vital problems of the rising generation.

I cordially wish all participants of the Conference fruitful work, constructive confrontation in understanding socioeconomic and political changes of the contemporary world, in elaborating particular ways of solving existing problems.
