And he censeth thrice before the Holy Table:

Then the chanters chant: It is truly meet to bless thee, the Theotokos, ever-blessed and most blameless, and Mother of Our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, who without corruption gavest birth to God the Word, the very Theotokos, thee do we magnify.

Then the deacon censeth the Holy Table round about, and remembereth whomsoever he will, both of the living and of the dead.

(For the Living: For the Salvation, visitation, and remission of the sins of the servants of God N. N.)

(For the dead: For the repose and remission of sins of Thy servants, N. N: Give them rest, O God, in a place of brightness, whence sorrow and sighing have fled away. And give them rest where the light of thy countenance shall visit them.)

Then the Priest prayeth:

And the holy Prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist John; the holy and all-praised apostles; Saint(s) N.(N.), whose memory we also celebrate; and for all Thy saints: through whose intercessions do Thou visit us, O God; and remember all that have departed in the hope of the resurrection unto life everlasting, and grant them rest where the light of Thy countenance shall visit them.

A gain we pray Thee: Remember, O Lord, all the Orthodox episcopate that rightly divide the word of Thy truth, all the priesthood, the diaconate in Christ, and every sacred rank.

Again we offer unto Thee this rational service for the whole world; for the Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church; for them that abide in purity and an honorable life; for the Orthodox Russian people; for this land, its rulers and armed forces. Grant them, O Lord, peaceful governance, that in their calm we may also lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and soberness.

And the priest exclaimeth:

Among the first, remember, O Lord, Our Great Lord and Father, His Holiness N., Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia; our lord the Very Most Reverend N., Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, and First Hierarch of the Russian Church abroad; and our lord the Most Reverend N., Archbishop ( or Bishop) of ( name of the diocese ),whom do Thou grant unto Thy holy churches, in peace, safety, honor, health, and length of days, rightly dividing the word of Thy truth.

Choir: And each and every one.

The priest prayeth secretly:

Remember, O Lord, this city (or town, or monastery) wherein we dwell, and every city and country and the faithful that dwell therein. Remember, O Lord, them that travel by sea, land, and air; the sick, the suffering, the imprisoned, and their salvation. Remember, O Lord, them that bear fruit and do good works in Thy holy churches, and them that are mindful of the poor, and upon us all send down Thy mercy.

The priest exclaimeth:

And grant us with one mouth, and one heart, to glorify and hymn Thy most honorable and majestic name: of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.

Choir: Amen.

And turning to the people and blessing them, the priest saith:
