We invite you to take part in the work of international scientific and practical symposium
«Tatarstan - Turkey: Historical ties, present state and development prospects»
The Symposium will be held on 10-11 April 2014.
In organization and holding of the Symposium participate office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Administration of Kazan, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian historical community (Kazan department), the Institute of culture of peace (UNESCO), the International humanitarian Academy «Europe-Asia», the Russian Islamic University, Russian Organization of solidarity and cooperation with the nations of Asia and Africa (Republican department), the community of Orientalists of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of this international scientific and practical symposium is scientific and theoretical analysis of the historical experience and the current situation of Tatarstan-Turkish ties in various areas of social practice of ethnically related nations - politics, economics, educational, scientific and cultural sphere. Identification of potential for the development of cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan and Turkish Republic is the most important task of the symposium. Proposed consideration of the role and place of Tatarstan-Turkish relations as an integral part in the overall structure of Russian-Turkish relations.
The main focus of the symposium involves consideration of the following problem thematic blocks:
