The number of PNU exchange students your university will accept for 2013 fall semester and 2014 spring semester according to the signed Agreement  
Application deadline 12 p.m. April 1st, 2013 – for interuniversity competition; 12 p.m. April 19th, 2013 – for submission of application documents to foreign university
Required Application Documents (please, enclose any forms to be filled in, if such exist) All other application documents and materials should be submitted and managed through the International Office of the home university of exchange students. All students are required to apply online at http://itislink.inha.ac.kr/ipsiIExchange/IIE61001/ApplyLoginFGrd.aspx 1) Application for admission with one photo(using designated form) 2) Certificate of enrolment 3) Latest official transcript 4) A letter of recommendation issued (using designated form) 5) Autobiography and study plan (using designated form) 6) Photocopy of passport 7) Bank statement with deposit of more than U$ 5,000 8) Housing Application Form (using designated form) 9) Household Register (for Chinese students only)
Requirements for exchange students (language ability for academic study, etc.) • a minimum 2.0 out of 4.5 cumulative GPA or 70 out of 100 points equivalent at home institution and; • a proof of English or Korean Language Proficiency (Minimum TOEIC 600 or TOEFL PBT 487 or CBT 163 or iBT 57 or TOPIK Level 2) ※ If a student does not meet the qualification requirements stated above, Section B in his/her recommendation letter must be filled out by a student’s academic supervisor. ※ Exchange students do not need to take any Korean language proficiency test before entering Inha University. However, students are recommended to take Korean language courses at Inha.

The number of hours per week for Korean language course Korean language courses are offered for exchange students: Basic/ Intermediate/ Advanced (2~3 credit)
The list of courses taught in English (with a number of hours per week) The list of courses offered in foreign languages can be found online at the university’s website: 1. Go to http://sugang.inha.ac.kr/sugang/ and click ‘English’ on the upper right side menu. 2. Click ‘Course Schedule’ on ‘Curriculum’ on the left side menu. Once you click it, a pop up screen shows up. 3. Select ‘foreign language’ on the ‘etc’ bar on the newly pop up window.
Accommodation facilities • Exchange students will be guaranteed on-campus housing at their own expenses. • Application for on-campus housing should be made when submitting the admission application materials and payment can be made in cash upon arrival. • Dormitory fees (Fall 2012): approx. KRW 914,350 ※ 4 people, shared bathroom & shower room ※ Dorm Fees for Spring 2013 is not determined yet. • One semester runs for 16 weeks, and approximate costs of KRW 500,000 are needed for each winter/summer break additionally. • Dormitory fees are subject to change every semester. • Exchange students are allowed to accommodate only at quadruple rooms. • Breakfast and dinner from Monday through Friday are included in the dormitory fees shown above. All lunches and meals for weekends and holidays should be purchased separately. • Students looking for an off campus housing should apply in time with the designated application form.
