Meetings
The world of business is the world of meetings. Business people are people who are always busy and organized. They arrange a lot of meetings to discuss different aspects of their work. They never make a decision without any discussion. To arrange a meeting is not easy. You should know the interests of your colleagues, their timetable and opportunities to get prepared for a meeting.
To arrange a meeting one should:
Keeping a calendar is a part of arrangement. Use a schedule to be organized and develop your personal success skill.
Learn business abbreviations:
appt = appointment ASAP = as soon as possible
brkfst = breakfast Co = company
dept = department Mgr = Manager
mtg = meeting re: = reference (about)
VP = Vice-President w/ = with
You need some words to feel certain while arranging a meeting. Match the words with their definitions.
