Selection of sources

In order to do personal project I first have to decide what type of resources I am going to use that will help me collect relevant information. That information which answers my questions which I had whiles the investigation. So here is my list of sources which I used:

- Internet

So basically this is my first source, in my opinion, the most common source, which I used through whole project. Actually my aim was to find relevant information about Walt Disney steps of success and I have found very amazing web site which contains his main quotes which are kind of tips for achieving success [1]. It was extremely helpful for me to understand that I weren`t wrong with chosen AoI, because I know right that I can tell something for people about Walt and his steps for happiness. Also the main point of this site is that there are not just his quotes, also clear description of each.

One more thing is that it gives an idea to use some of those quotes without description into my product. It will be great to read for everyone because Walt Disney was very smart. In his words I feel live and they inspire me to do something for my happy future.

- Interview

I have interview some children and their parents who watched with me Disney movie “The pirate fairy”.[2] I asked them, do they understand the main idea of the movie?

In my opinion, it is very important to know, because I have understand the main idea of the cartoon, firstly because I am teenager, however this cartoon for small children. The movie teach about friendship and also to not give up, and make your dream come true, and also do not believe people while you achieved something in life, because they might use you, but did it understand children? I noticed that even in cartoons Disney company try to teach children many important life fact and the main part, that all of them can make their dreams come true, even people will stop you and laugh at you.

- Questioner

I have made a questionnaire which I gave for different ages of people and they answered all my questions.[3]

· Do you know who is Walt Disney?

· How many cartoons he had made?

· What would you like to know about him?

In my opinion this type of source is relevant because, I will know how much people know about him, which will give me direction, how to present my information and what people would like to know about him.

- A Book

I have read a book about Walt Disneys biography, which is “How to be like Walt” by Pat Williams, which I bought in London in 2010. There are interviews of Walt Disney and some biography facts about his life. I really was surprised, that when he was about 15 years old, two men from newspaper, who draw cartoons (Leroy Gosset and Carey Orr), asked his for join the newspaper as a cartoonist. It was his first real job as a cartoonist.[4] However he started to work much earlier, because he had very hard life, but it made him not to lose hope and go forward. This information is relevant because it gives me answer from which age he started his journey and basically, answered my question, is age relevant for starting you journey for success.

- Video

I have watched a film called “Saving Mr. Banks” and it is partly biography film about Walt Disney.[5] He the second of the main character. Even this film didn`t gave me much information about him, but I have learned many interesting facts about his life and what kind of person he was. I have notices the major part of his personality is that he is a much rested person who will do everything for what he want, even he it will take too much time.

The film is relevant because I have understand more about his personality and visually saw how he lived and know more about his life through the movie.
