Ukrainian Resort Bukovel

Bukovel is one of the best mountain resorts of Ukraine. Tourist complex “Bukovel” is located 30 km from Yaremche and 110 km from Ivano-Frankovsk in the village Polyanitsia Ivano-Frankovsk region. The nearest major airports and railway stations are Ivano-Frankovsk (100 km), Lviv (230 km), Chernovtsy (170 km). This tourist area is unique in its natural and climatic conditions. Currently Bukovel became the youngest and at the same time, the fastest growing ski resort in Ukraine, a favorite vacation spot in the mountains for the Ukrainians.

Bukovel, as a resort, is rapidly expanding. Until 2010 is planned to increase the total length of tracks to 278 km, and the number of lifts to 35, which will allow him to enter the top 20 ski resorts in the world. Also in 2006, was made the application on which Bukovel considered as a candidate for the Winter Olympic Games in 2018. To this end, in August 2009 on the territory of the tourist complex "Bukovel" started construction of a hotel complex class four-star plus ". The managing of the complex will be implemented by an international group Rezidor under the name of Radisson.
