SAMPLE

Think about a time you were away from home.

1. Who and what did you miss?

2. How did you keep in touch?

3. How did you get over this challenge?

Being mature sometimes means a challenge of living away from home, far from your closest people. As for me I used to live in Tver. Due to the fact that I entered the university in Moscow, I ended up living in the dormitory here. I admit I can't still get used to the idea of spending next 3 years far from my parents. I definitely feel homesick at times especially when I stay alone. To tell the truth my best friend is my mom who I miss talking to so much, but still we keep in touch using skype almost every day. That's why I'm among those people who are mad about various gadgets as their main advantage is having close people get together online. On the other hand I understand that it's a great experience of living on my own and taking care of myself. I'm supposed to develop new personal traits such as inner confidence and self-respect. I get the feeling if I had stayed at home I would have never learnt to stick to the budget as professionally as I do it now. To summarise, there are always pros and cons in our life and we should stay cool headed and think outside the box to be successful in life.
