Before you go to any job interview, try to think about common interview questions which your interviewer is likely to ask you. We have forumlated some sample interview questions with some answers, that should help you get started. Remember dont lie and be honest in an assertive confident manner.

· Tell me about yourself. - Talk about your qualities, ambitions etc without going into too much personal information. No interviewer really cares what you like to cook or what movies you like. Stick to the important facts.

· What are your strengths? - Focus about strengths that could come useful to a prospective employer. Mention qualities like: good organizational skills, an eye for detail, an ability to stick to deadlines etc.

· What are your weaknesses? - Try to mention weaknesses that wouldn't hurt your career prospects. Find "positive" weaknesses like; being too much of a perfectionist, or being fussy about punctuality. etc

· Do you have any hobbies? - Hobbies reflect your personality. Make sure you do have some hobbies to talk about.

· Why do you want this job? - Having already done your research about the company and the job, you should be able to answer this question with ease. Keep in mind and mention why this job will be satisfying and motivating for you, without mentioning the word MONEY.

· Why are you leaving your present job? - Whatever you do at this point, don't insult your current/former employer or organization. Keep as neutral as possible using terms like "character differences", "worker incompatibilities", or "no job satisfaction" etc

· What do you think this job involves? - Mention all you know about the job post including the negative and more tedious part. Make sure you show that you know what you're going in for.

· Why should we choose you? - Highlight how your strengths can contribute to this job opening and to the company in general. Mention your loyalty and commitment to an employer.

· Are you ready to work weekends/or long hours/or overtime? - Even if you aren't ready to do so, blurting out a definite NO isn't going to help. Try to be more diplomatic, saying you prefer to have the weekends off but if the company really needs you to work an occasional weekend, you are ready to do so.

· What interests you in our company? - Don't start by mentioning all the job perks. Instead, say you admire the company's image, high standards, professionalism etc.
