Introduction session with DIT professors (meet the professors and programme coordinators, get the programme information, etc.)
DIT Campus Tour, including library. Introduction to research agenda and research databases.

Lecture: “Doing Business in Ireland, Economy and Challenges”, Brian McGillion, Senior Lecturer, DIT.
Evening
Reception with Russian Embassy delegates, School Director and DIT Professors.

Day trip to the Glendalough Valley. The Glendalough Valley is located in the Wicklow Mountains National Park and has many attractions to entice, entertain and enthral visitors, from its world famous Monastic Site with Round Tower (this early Christian monastic settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and from this developed the “Monastic City”) to its scenic lakes and valleys, as well as a selection of walks and trails in the area including The Wicklow Way.

Site visit: Docklands Innovation Park. Docklands Innovation Park is a centre for software and IT companies, strategically located in the heart of Dublin Docklands.
