1. No one can deny that clothes do not make the man, but still the way we dress tells the other people a lot about us. What are your preferences in clothes? How clothes-conscious are you?

2. We all have preferences in everything. And seasons of the year are not an exception. What is, in your opinion, the best season of the year to fall in love with?

3. You’ve recently been to the Meteorological Centre. There you had a chance to listen to the information about the ways weather conditions and changes in the atmosphere are studied. Share the information you`ve obtained and give the weather forecast for a summer/autumn/winter/spring day.

4. Everybody likes receiving presents but not everyone is good at giving them. And what about you? What’s your idea of present giving? What does this process involve? What are some of the common gifts that you buy for a special occasion or holidays?

5. Annually the University newspaper for the best article announces a competition "Seasons of the year in your country". Display your wit, originality, ingenuity and humour.

6. You’ll have your regular meeting of the English speaking club. The subject under discussion will be ”Eating for living or living for eating”. Get ready to express your opinion.

7. Not everyone is aware of the role of fashion and its trends in our life. And what about you? Do you consider yourself to be fashion-conscious?

24. If you ask foreigners to name some typically English dishes they’ll probably say “Fish and chips”. What traditional English food do you know? What do British people eat? What are their eating habits?

25. Good manners are the essential part of our behaviour. You and your friend have been invited to a dinner party. Unfortunately, your friend doesn’t know how to behave at the table. Tell him about table manners.
