PROCEDURE
I. INTRODUCTION
T. Good morning, dear girls and boys. How are you today? I see you are in a good mood, am I right?
It means that you are OK at school and at home. These are two main places where you spend your time. Look at the blackboard and say: “What do we speak about today? So our topic is “School life”. The motto of the lesson “Live and learn”. Who knows another proverbs and saying about school?
P1. Train hard fight easy.
P2. All I know is that I know nothing.
P3. To know everything is to know nothing.
P4.It is never late to learn.
T. so to be intelligent and smart you have to learn all your life. We’ll speak about school, we’ll revise vocabulary, we’ll read the text about education in Ukraine and we’ll practice in transforming of direct speech into indirect.
II. WARMING-UP
Teacher suggests that students make up a spider gram about school on the blackboard.
Let’s bruch up on what school is.
P1. It is a typical school building in the center of our village. It is not very big but comfortable and beautiful. It’s my native school. I’m accustomed to it because five days a week I come here. School is my second home.
P2. The territory of our school includes stadium, garden and park. Stadium is favourite place of our boys. During the breaks and after classes they play football there. At Physical Training Lessons. We go running, jumping, playing different games. A lot of fruit trees grow in our school garden: apple-trees, plum-trees. And in the park you can see birches, lime-trees, ach-trees, poplars and oak-trees.
P3. Teachers of our school are very friendly, caring and intelligent. They know all we ask them. They are always ready to help us.
P4. There are different classrooms where we study all kinds of subjects. My favorite subject is English, it is held in the English classroom.
P5. Our school has the charter. There are school rules there:
P6. At school we have variety of activities: clubs, contests, Olympiads, meetings, parties concerts, performances etc.
