Leadership and Team work

How would you describe your working style?
My working style is adaptive. In general I try to keep to a fast paced. Yet I try to be efficient and I am a bit of a perfectionist. I like my job to be well-done. I work well on my own but I am happy to work within a team. I am always dedicated to what I am doing and responsible. I don’t like leaving something undone.

What is the biggest global/national issue in your point of view? And why? What do you think you can do about it, now, while being a university student?
Environmental destruction is one of main problems for our world. I think in order to have good future for ourselves we should take care of our Home.

Have you worked in a team before? What do you consider to be the dis/advantages of working in a team?
I have worked in a team before and I think there are many advantages of teamwork. Of course with more minds set on a specific goal, we can access more ideas. Looking at things from the perspective of others can increase the quality innovation and seeing the issue from another angle gives opportunity to find best solution to every problem. Teams can create better communication and respectful relationships among employees. On the other hand conflict may develop between team members or other teams, which can led to less successful result.

How would you describe a true leader? Did you have previous leadership experience? What was your key learning out of it?
For me a true leader is the one who see the clear of purpose of his work. A true leader should have powerful and effective communication skills. Leader must motivate people and encourage responsibility and creativity. Be an example for team members, cultivate good relationships with team member, A true leader should have the ability to listen and respect other ideas. I have had leadership experience, and the important to me was the set goal, which my team members can see, the aim for our work and the readiness to lead your team, you should inspire team member to achieve success.

Did it happen to you that you had an opinion on solving a problem other that rest of your team? How did the team achieve agreement? What was your role in this?
Yes it happens quite often, when we didn’t share our opinions within team member, but anyway the best way to solve the problem is the corporation and compromise. The main thing we do in such cases is to listen to each opinion carefully and then oversee the question again and to come to profitable agreement. But more often I use my communications skills to persuade the rest of the group to use my idea if I know it is unique and will make us distinguish from other groups and to feel proud of ourselves.

Describe a situation when you were not satisfied with the results of your work. What did you do about it?
I like my job to be perfectly done, and whenever I am not satisfied with results, it means I have done something wrong, I keep analysing and starting to do it till perfect result.

Describe a moment when you had to make a really fast decision without full information about the situation.
I am a little bit spontaneous which allows me to take quick decisions. It mostly depends on circumstances, but however all my decisions till now were successful ones.

Describe a situation when you have taken on more tasks and where you were accountable to different people. How did you handle it?
I like being engaged in different jobs at one time, I can organize my time wisely to manage them all. Usually I make clear day schedule to be in time for every task.
