Mainmatch 1500

the 150 shot match for open class revolver (and pistol)
distance: 7-50 meters/yds

-Normally main match can be shot either by open class revolver or open class auto pistol. Shooter has to choose, which weapon he want use in main match.

Results of main match are used for wa1500 international classification and wa1500 world ranking list.

Some members of wa 1500 don´t run the main match, they do have two separated matches: revolver 1500 and pistol 1500. Which result to send for wa1500 classification and wa1500 world ranking list:

Details

open class revolver: a revolver chambered to fire centerfire cartridges.32 or larger.
If the revolver has single action capacity, the s.a. trigger pull must be at least 2,5 pounds (1134 grams) optionally (if allowed by member country)
open class semi-auto-pistol: Center-fire-pistols of caliber.35 or larger, including 9mm and.45 pistols.
Trigger pull at least 3,5 pounds(1589 grams)

sight guard may not extend reward more than 2 inches
front sight may not extend beyond the muzzle
