The forms of the Infinitive are translated with regard to their grammatical categories: time and voice. Besides, the infinitive can play different roles in a sentence, that is to have different functions in a sentence and as a result, can be translated differently into the Russian language.

Translation can be done by the:

1) infinitive - e.g. I want to go the library. –Я хочу пoйти в библиотеку.

2) subordinate – a) I go to the library to read boo ks. –Я хожу в библиотеку

clause для того, чтобы читать книги.

b) I want to take books to be read. – Я хочу зять книги,
