Subtheme # 1: Defining communication and their characteristic features

Problem tasks:

1. Identify the definition and distinguishing features of communication.

2. Explain and differentiate the characteristics of communication: communication is symbolic, interpretive, transactional, and contextual, communication is a process, communication involves shared meanings, communication is dynamic process.

3. Speak on the functions and aspects of communication.

4. Speak on the theory of modeling communication.

5. Express your attitude to communicative and intercultural communicative competence.

Subtheme # 2: Main types of communication

Problem tasks:

1. Name the main types of communication and identify their similarities and differences.
2. Speak on verbal types of communication.
3. Speak on non-verbal types of communication.
4. Speak on expression and communication.
5. Characterize socio-psychological, linguistic, cognitive domains in Intercultural communication.
