SYSTEM

the way that something such as a company, country, or government is organized:

structure – a system, especially a complicated one with a lot of different levels;

network – a system that is made of several separate parts, all closely related;

framework – a basic system of rules or ideas which guides people in their work or thinking;

apparatus – all the parts that make up a system, especially when this system is large and complicated;

mechanism – a special system of rules which makes it possible for certain things to happen or for people to take particular action;

set–up – an informal word meaning the way in which a company or institution is organized.

VALUE

worth a lot of money:

valuable – worth a lot of money and expensive to buy or replace;

of great value – something that is of great value is worth a lot of money, especially a personal possession such as a work of art or a piece of jewellery;

be worth a lot – an informal expression meaning to be worth a lot of money;

be worth a fortune – an informal expression meaning to be extremely valuable and very difficult to buy;

precious – very valuable because it is, or is made from, a rare and expensive material;

priceless – worth so much money that the price cannot be calculated.

 

WAY/METHOD

a way or method of doing something:

method – a way of doing something, especially a way that has several stages and is known about and used by a lot of people;

approach – a way of dealing with a particular problem, especially a way that has been carefully thought about;

technique – a special skill or way of doing something, especially one that has to be learned;

strategy – a well–planned series of actions, that are intended to achieve a particular aim, especially over a long period of time;

system – a planned and effective way of doing something that you use every time you do it;

tactics – methods that you use in order to achieve what you want, especially in a game or difficult situation.

WORKER

all the people who work in a company, organization, or country:

staff – all the people who work in a company, organization, school, etc.;

workforce – all the people that work in a country, industry, or large organization;

labor – all the people that work in an industry or country, especially people whose jobs do not involve managing other workers;

personnel – a word used in official or business contexts meaning the people employed by a particular company, organization etc.;

manpower – all the workers available to an employer to produce goods or services.
