MY HOBBIES

1. Hobbies differ like tastes.

2. If you have chosen a hobby according to your character and taste you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting.

3. Hobbies are divided into 4 large classes: doing things, making things, collecting things and learning things.

4. The most popular of all hobby groups is doing things.

5. It includes a wide variety of activities, everything from gardening to traveling and from chess to volleyball.

6. Gardening is one of the oldest of man's hobbies.

7. It is a well-known fact that the English are very fond of gardening and growing flowers, especially roses.

8. Both grown-ups and children are fond of playing different computer games

9. This is a relatively new hobby but it is becoming more and more popular.

10. Making things includes drawing, painting, making sculptures and so on.

11.Two of the most famous hobby painters were President Eisenhower and Sir Winston Churchill.

12.Some hobbyists write music or play musical instruments.

13.Former President Bill Clinton, for example, plays the saxophone.

14. Almost everyone collects something at some period in his life: stamps, coins, match-boxes, books, records, postcards, toys, watch and so on.

15.Others become so large and valuable that they are housed in museums and galleries.

16. Many world famous collections started in a small way with one or two items.

17. People with a good deal of money often collect paintings, rare books and other art objects.

18. Often such private collections are given to museums libraries and public galleries so that others might take pleasure in seeing them.

19. No matter what kind of hobby a person has, he always has the opportunity of learning from it.

20.By reading about things he is interested in, he is adding to what he knows.

21. Learning things can be the most exiting aspect of a hobby.

 

22. As for me, my hobby is (music).

23. I started it 5 years ago when I was 8.

24.In fact, my teacher helped me to choose it and explained how to do it.

25. Actually, I devote a lot of time to my hobby, about 2 hours a day.

26. I like my hobby because it fills my life with joy and pleasure, makes it

more interesting.

27. My hobby helps me to make friends.

28. It makes me better organized and disciplined.

29. It broadens my mind and stimulates my imagination..

30. I can't imagine my life without a hobby.
