The great Akakiy’s travelling

Well, I’d like to tell you about the travelling of a green horse Akakiy. It was summer 2014 when me, my family and, of course, Akakiy decided to visit Poland. So, we just packed our suitcases and started our trip.

05/08/14

Firstly, before we went to Poland, we visited some Belarusian sights such as Mir Castle and Nesvizh Castle. The day was nice, but, unfortunately it was a little bit cloudy. But nothing could stop us!

By the way, these castles are included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Oh, it was wonderful! So, visiting them you can literally touch the history of Belarus, believe me. The buildings are really great and the halls inside of them are so luxury and impressive. The history of Nesvizh Castle is connected with the legend about a ghost of Barbara Radzivill(Queen of Poland and Grand Duchess of Lithuania) who was poisoned by her mother in law, and it was a little bit scary to walk throw the corridors of this mysterious building.

Then we had a snack and went to Poland! Yeah, we were really looking forward to it!

06/08/14

Okay, at 4 o’clock we stayed in a hotel in Bialystok, Poland, and finally went to bed. The day was really bright and difficult.At 9 o’clock we went for a walk. It was rainy, but it was too good day to stay at home. OMG! WHAT A WONDERFUL TOWN! I WANT TO WALK THERE AGAIN AND AGAIN!

So many cathedrals and castles, so brilliant nature, so friendly people! We visited breathtaking Branicki palace. The garden near it is sooo huge and exciting!!!

And finally we went to SHOPPING! Oh, yeah! About 7 hours of shopping! What may be better?!

At 8 PM we had to left Bialystok and went to next town. It was Augustow. A little nice town, but I wasn’t so wonded at once. Anyway, the day was perfect, but we were tired. So me and Akakiy had to go to bed and just have a rest. Good night, Poland *_*

07/08/14

Good morning, it’s time to move on! It was day when we tried some traditional polish food(is was 2 kinds of soups and fish). Yummy!!! Akakiy really liked it:) Then we had a fascinating boat trip on Augustow Channel. The weather was really bright and warm. It was sunny:) Oooh, we really enjoyed it!

Then we fed some ducks and understood that is was good time to have a dinner)

After it we went for a walk and, of course, eat ICE-CREAM!

08/08/14

Time to move to LITHUANIA! Yeah, we visited Vilnius! We stayed at a house that was really terrible outside, with broken roof and ugly walls, but we were surprised because it was very nice inside.

It was rainy day, but we went for a walk. We watched old town, castles, cathedrals and even huge egg 0_o

The weather was sad((So, we just bought a lot of ice-cream and came back to our house.

It’s time to come home, cause “East or west, home is best”:D

Akakiy was tired, but happy. He really enjoyed our travelling and now he’s looking forward to new adventures)))
