(basing on the example of the noun“ introduction”)

The analysis of the form	On phonetic level	1. Double word stress: [ˌɪntrə'dʌkʃ(ə)n] 2. The linking O is neutral. 3. In the first closed syllable “I” is read as “ɪ”; in the third closed syllable “u” is pronounced as “ʌ“. 4.The final cluster “tion” is read as “ʃ(ə)n”. 5. In the verb “ introduce” from which the word is derived the third syllable is opened, so “u” is read as “juː”.
On spelling level	“ʃ(ə)n” is realized by “tion”
On morphological level	The word is motivated. It consists of the root “duc” (Lat. – вести!), the prefix “intro” (the motivated item!), the suffix “tion” forming nouns.
On word-formation level	Noun - introduction, intro (a compressed colloquial form) Verb - to introduce (a regular verb) Adjective – introductory (in the meaning “ предварительный, подготовительный” and “ вводный,вступительный”) Participle – introducing/ introduced (with the same root but different affixes we form product, deduction, inductive, reproduce etc)
On grammatical level	1. abstract (without an article) and non-abstract (with def. and ind.articles) 2. as an abstract notion it has no plural form. (as opposed to “intro-intros”

The word is quite neutral, but in the meanings of “вставление, включение (в структуру, в состав чего-л.) + нововведение +вводный курс” it presupposes literary style. While “ intro” (its equivalent)is informal, colloquial.
