Speaking part. Experimental.

Speaking part. Experimental.

1. My area of work is linguistics and philology. I do my best to master my foreign languages. I speak German and English and I study Spanish. I was always quite good in languages and it's a very important part of my life and I hope to learn some other languages in Future. It's very interesting for me to read books in original language and to be acquainted with another culture, traditions and people.

2.I'm interested in literature and classical music. As for literature I prefer to read some classics for example Tolstoy, Dostoevski, Tchehov, but I also like to read some scientific works or articles about sociology, politology, economics and philosophy. I like symphonic music and often attend our city's philarmony. My favorite composers are Bruckner, Sibelius, Mozart and Bach.

3.In August I hope to visit Turkey with my best friend. She is actually my groupmate and we have a very close relationship that's why I believe that a holiday spent with each other is a nice idea. Maybe even a stroke of genius. If you want to know about my professional plans, I can say that I hope that I will be a skillful interpreter. Not only I hope, but I also do my best and strive for the best.

4.I've visited quite a lot of countries and I can say that each country distinguishes in people who live there. Usually I don't get in touch with a lot of people but I can say that in India I had a funny story when an Indian man near church answering our question whether the church is christian told us that he is Jesus Christ and asked us if we were also Jesus Christ. He told us the same story 3 or 4 days and only on the fifth day he learned a word “christianity”.)

5.I am a student, which means that I attend University every day and do my homework in the evening. As for my habits I can say that I'm fond of coffee and I cannot imagine my life without it. Each morning I drink 2 cups of coffee and only then go to University.

6.There should be a special committee maybe even international committee, that controls the goverment's investments. Also government should show a fully detailed list of their spending. People should see the results of their work. Here, in Ukraine we know that deputies and ministers steal money and it's a very sad story. For example, recently in Kiev there was a demonstration even better to say a strike, because people who have AIDs found that our government cannot provide them with necessary medicines because 56 million of dollars that were invested on such special needs are lost. And it's awful because our ministers try to get their benefits by these crimes against those poor people.

7.It's not an easy question. Actually, on the one side to support sport means that the population will be healthier that is a contribution into their future, especially in countries where people are obese or in countries where people have health problems and lack of stamina. Life is in moving but we live in era when we prefer to sit, relax, feel comfortable and complain about obesity or about fat people, ugly children and poor genetic heredity. On the other side to support sport is to develop humankind in sphere of emotions, feelings, spirit and aesthetic perception. It's also a very important step in cultural development but there is a problem – modern art is very subjective and that's why it's a rather tricky decision to invest money into art. But still there is a chance to open a new vivid genius and to present him to the wide publicity.

8.Maybe by putting advertisment campaigns to use public transport in order to decrease the emissions of gas and not to have such a bad impact on the environment of the planet where we live. Maybe government should design a law where cardrivers will pay a special tax for car-using.

9.Ecological environment or social environment. Everything can be learned by comparison. And maybe by personal experience. But both these environments can be assessed by the way you feel yourself there and also by special statistics.

10.The atmosphere and the environment. If the atmosphere is perfect and people are pleasant, friendly and consciousness – then the place is good. But there are also some features like the ecology, the crime rate, the social security level, the climate, the level of employment, work opportunities, education system, healthcare system, Gross Domestic Product and Gross National Product, natural resources and so on and so on. But maybe it all can be created at once when the atmosphere is good, nation is willing to work and everyone wants to be a part of a developing country.

11.It's very important because trees are the lungs of the planet, because greenery and flowers look beautiful and have a healthy influence on our health and because we live in very industrialized cities, green spaces can meet our aesthetic requirements and inspire us.

12.I believe that getting as much information as possible will be the best way, because all of the mass media can be used for spreading wrong information, for disinformation and for creating propaganda. I reckon that it's a very sad experience for 21 century – the century of the information technology – to be dependent on what kind of information you receive, how it can shape your mind and your views and how some people can use these tools to manipulate you.

13.Maybe sometimes but not always. Every rule has it's exceptions. Maybe goods of the very high quality don't lie or don't even need any advertisment because they are already famous, but the developing products can conceal the whole truth because they need to survive in the conditions of the global economy and they need their profits and their goods to be on demand.

14.It's is important to share the experience and to form the family feeling or even to form a worldview, to share love and care. It's very important especially nowadays, when we are all often busy with our virtual life – I mean online life, our internet life or so. And our family values can suffer.

15.Depends on their image and recognition. If they want to be famous worldwide – they take advantage of the media. If a celebrity is already well-known and highly-recognized then the media take advantage of stars.

16.Maybe because when there is a hot potato and it's a problem and needs to be resolved. Or maybe because bad news happen more often than the good ones.

17.Less commercials and celebrities' gossips and more educative programs. As a result – it will create a more smart generation.

18.Because society make some jobs fashionable. I believe that each of us wants to be successful. Success is our main goal. It's usually highly paid so that we can can afford ourselves designer's clothes, extra-class cars, delicious food, house or apartment in elite district with not less but at least neighbors of equal success, good education for our children, itsy-bitsy dogs, travels and modern devices and so on and so on. Professions that can provide all these may become fashionable.

19.Maybe to try it and then to decide. The best way is simply to try and then to access whether it applies to you or not.

20.That depends on the situation how you live. For example, if you need to feed your family and to earn money for your family – then it's better to earn a good salary because if have children – it's your obligation to provide them with all the necessary. To give them best. Tutors, schools, extra classes, clothes, high quality food, health care, merry holidays and other pleasant things. But if you are alone then it's better to enjoy your profession. Of course, it should agree with your ambitions and expectations. It's also good to find some balance – it's said that if you love your work – then you'll never get tired or dissatisfied or disappointed of even then you don't need to work. That's the approach, the outlook, the philosophy.

21.The environment. When the environment is friendly and warm, and everyone takes care of one another and everyone is conscious and works for a common goal – it is a perfect place and a perfect team to work. Maybe my view is a little unrealistic but still...

22.Both. In the University you get theoretical knowledge that you should apply on practice. But without theory it's somehow shallow knowledge. Theory is important. If you are a doctor, it's impossible to imagine you making an operation without elementary knowledge of anatomy, biology, some medical diagnoses and procedures.

23.In Ukraine we have a strange situation, when a conductor in public transport who has just secondary education in best case, can learn a higher salary than a graduate student from philological department, or than a teacher of English or German language. It's somehow very strange and curious.

24.I reckon that it depends on the abilities and interests of each student. Maybe for those, who wants to earn their living as a waiter or as a driver till the end of their life it's worth to get a job and not to attend the university. But if a person is interested in science and experiments and researches it's worth to enter a university.

25.Maybe some people say so because in Ukraine students are often supported financially by their parents ant it means that all they need is just to study well and to get a good profession. Also student times are wonderful because you meet interesting people and get an experience of adult relations. In school it seemed to be normal but in University it is even better. And best friends in University often stay best friends after graduation.

26. I can't add anything into the existing system.

27. Now I'm finishing my third year course and I had more vocational subjects but in previous courses we had some academic subjects and it really enriched my outlook. That's why I believe that academic lectures won't harm.

28. I'm used to paying by myself because I study in a private University. My University is the best one in the city and I'm proud to be a part of it and to get my education here. I believe that nothing good is for free that's why students who pay are quite normal for me. Because we want good teachers to get adequate salaries and we want them to teach us, so to pay good money for their work is an ordinary solution.

29. Yes. In our University even senior citizens can get their diploma and that is simply wonderful – to study all life, not to stop on something that has already been achieved but to move forward to the development. I also know that some prodigy children are allowed to study in the University if they passed the entry exams successfully even if they are only 8 year old.
