"American pancakes"
Ingredients (for 12 pieces):
Eggs - 2 pieces
Sugar - 2-3 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 2 cups
Flour - 2 cups
Soda (slaked vinegar) - 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil - ¼ of cup
Preparation:
1. Beat eggs with sugar and salt until simmering.
2. Add a glass of milk, beat well, gradually add flour, constantly breaking up lumps with a mixer.
3. Repeat the previous step, add the remaining cups of milk and flour.
Pour the vegetable oil (you can substitute melted butter).
4. Redeem soda, add to the batter and mix well again. Leave to stand for 5-10 minutes. During this time, heat the pan.
5. Fry without oil (otherwise they will not be American) over moderate heat. As soon they will start to burst bubbles – turn them over and cook another 20 seconds. It is desirable to fold a pile to the bottom pancakes kept warm.
