I WISH I wish + Present Subjunctive II ( Past Simple) - Unreality in the Present I wish he were here. I wish (wished) + Past Subjunctive II ( Past Perfect) – Unreality in the Past I wish she had been able to dance. Wish + would – to complain that people do the wrong thing, when we want something to happen or to change or when we want somebody to do something. I wish they would turn the TV down. It’s too loud. |
