The first wonder of Russia is Lake Baikal. Baikal is the deepest lake on Earth. Also, it attracts tourists with its beauty. The water in the Lake is very clean and useful. Many people visit Baikal every day. I would like to visit this wonderful Lake.

The second wonder of Russia is the Valley of geysers. It is located in the Kamchatka. The Valley of geysers is a volcanic canyon. It’s about 2 km in width and 4 km in length. It includes about 20 large geysers and numerous sources periodically emits fountains almost boiling water or hot steam. The Valley of geysers is one of the largest fields in the world.

The third wonders of Russia are the Mamayev Kurgan and mother-Motherland. They are located in the Volgograd. The name «Mamayev Kurgan» is known since ancient times. It most likely has nothing to do with the commander Mamay. Sculpture “Mother Motherland” is one of the tallest statues in the world. It was built in 1967.

The fourth wonder of Russia is Peterhof. It is located in Saint Petersburg. It was founded in 1705. And in 1944 it was closed for restoration.

The fifth wonder of Russia is St. Basil’s Cathedral. It was founded in 1560. Its founder was Ivan Grozny. St. Basil’s Cathedral attracts by its colourful displays and beauty. Many tourists from various countries visit it.

The sixth wonder is Doles Weathering. They are in the Komi Republic. Their height is from 30 to 42 meters. They were formed about 200 million years ago.

The seventh wonder is Mount Elbrus in Russia. It is located in the Caucasus. It was formed about 200 million years ago. Its maximum height is 5642 m. This mountain is very beautiful and a real value of Russia.
