- Are you going to be a Prosecutor-General? Or at least a Deputy Prosecutor-General?

- Oh no! I think one starts the career as an assistant prosecutor. And then it all depends on how well you work…

- What responsibilities will you have?

- In criminal cases, public prosecutors have the power to investigate any criminal offense, decide whether or not to institute prosecution.

- It sounds really serious. Do they collaborate with courts?

- Yes, officers can request proper application of law by courts. They also may perform such other functions as are authorized by Constitution and laws.

- I am sure you must have certain moral qualities to work in the prosecutor’s office.

- Of course! All the work is based on the principle of strict fairness and impartiality.

- Do you mean you can’t be rude with people who committed a crime?

- Cases should be handled with due respect to the human rights of the suspects.

- Well, I’d like to wish you good luck in your new job and I hope you will enjoy it.
