Hostess (W): Good evening, sir. Welcome to the Post Meridian Restaurant. Do you have a reservation?

Customer (M): Yes. It's under "Jackson".

Hostess: Here it is: Mr. Jackson, party of four.

Customer: How long will the wait be?

Shrimp platterwith cocktail sauce (serves two). Steak grilledto perfection, served with boiled potatoes and peas. Raspberry sorbet, with fresh berries (low-fat option)
House salad with our signature dressing (low-fat and low-calorie option). Pork chops simmeredin a sweetand soursauce, with rice.  
  Half a roasted chicken, seasoned with herbs, with a side of our salty potato chips.
