Bitchi hai jajama, lagi hai takiya

Nama niranjana swami weh jape

Taja turangha hasti veh chare

Danda upadi se nyara rahe

Rishi jo muni guru duddha jo dhari

I bow to Guru Deva Datta who, in the enlightened form of a Fakir (Avadhuta), is perfected in the 84 Siddhis.

Guruji is sitting in renunciation on the top of a mountain in meditation. As Sri Guru Datta Tre is doing japa in the Girnard hills, as God Alak is reigning over Maharegarh,

and as Shiva Shankar sitting in meditation on Kailash.

Salutations to Guruji, who is sitting on a Jajam seat, leaning against the pillow, always repeating the name of the God without form.

Salutations to the Yogi, seated on His throne, strong as a horse, majestic like sitting on an elephant.

Salutations to Guruji in the form of a pandit (spiritual teacher), who is singing the Vedas, holding the rod as a symbol of authority and punishment, is freed from all distress.

Salutations to the Guruji in the form of the Rishi, who is drinking pure cow's milk and is observing austerities at Urdvaham.

Ruckhara Suckhara dhupa jo lheve

Naga nirbhaya tapasya kare

Salutations to Guruji in the form of a naked God meditating without fear, inhaling the aromatic vapor, or smoke, as heat.

Salutations to Guruji, who is meditating in the forest Vankhandi, indifferent to wealth or poverty.

Salutations to Guruji in the form of a Bikshu, taking alms in Abu mount at Mohareghar.

Salutations to the Guruji, whose form is encircled by the sun, the moon and 900,000 stars.

Salutations to the Guruji in the form of the Sanyassi, of highest rank, who is protected by all Gods.

Salutations to the Guruji, who is playing the divine play in God's land Bharat (India), praised and respected by all.

Sri Guru Dev Datt datta, Nirbhaijata,

Jahan datta hai, vahan sat hai

Datta bare parmarathi

Sital jinke ang,

tapan bhujave deve apna rang

Bol Sri Guru Dev Datta Maharaj ki jail!

Sins committed by hands and feet, through words of mouth or body, or by action arising from ears and eyes, or from the mind default, knowingly or unconsciously caused, forgive all these sins, ocean of mercy. Hail, hail Oh Mahesh.

Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is Lord Mahesh (Shiva), Guru is the visible divine incarnation. Salutation to that Guru.

My meditation is in the form of the Guru. My puja is at the Guru’s feet, my mantra is the world of the Guru, my liberation is the grace of the Guru.

Salutations to that respected Guru who has made it possible to realize Him and who pervades the cosmos.

As all rainfalls from the sky reach the ocean, so shall the prayers to all Gods finally reach Lord Krishna.

The name Keshava destroys all obstacles, Madhava’s name removes all sufferings, Shri Hari’s name destroys all sins, Govinda’s name gives liberation.

The mantra is Truth, the puja is Truth, Truth is our God. The speech of Guru is Truth, the only Truth is in devotion to Guruji’s feet.

I can’t take refuge to any other than to Your lotus feet. We bow to Shiva, our protector, the form of love and compassion.

Being blessed with the vision of Shiva in evening/morning, all sins of endless birth or seven lives will be destroyed.

A donation of gold, as big as Mount Mer, work of a million donated cows or five million horses is worth the vision of Lord Shiva.

You are the mother, You are the father, You are the relative, You are my best friend, You are education, You are wealth, You are everything for me, Oh Lord, Oh Lord.
