§ Accommodation and food:

 

The volunteers will stay in a apartment in the stables next to the mansion Vogelsang. Food is already included but the volunteers will be responsible for the cooking.

 

§ Free time:

 

Planned are such activities as: short trips nearby facilities, sport games, barbeque, parties or anything that crosses your mind. It's also important that the participants should spend their free time together in order to get to know each other and other cultures.

§ What to bring with you:

 

- passport, identification card, student or youth card (e.g. ISIC you might obtain discounts for it)

- insurance certificate

- official invitation*

- old work clothes and work gloves

- outdoor footwear i.e. walking boots

- trousers, long-sleeved t-shirt; strong shoes (preferably also waterproof)

- sun-cream, sun glasses,, rain-jacket; swimming suit; slippers, towel...

- entertainment – books, DVDs

- any medicine you are taking, with the full amount for your stay in camp (also, pain relievers, antacids, insect repellent and vitamins)

- any special food you want that may not be served in camp

- international plug adaptor (if you are bringing electrical items)

- specialities/ postcards etc from your country

 

*An official invitation is required for Non-EU volunteers, who need a Visa invitation for Germany, and needs to be obtained from your sending organisation before you departure. This will be required by the Customs Officials in Germany and should be shown with your travel/ arrival details.

 

 

§ Insurance:

If you are a citizen of a member state of the European Union, you should bring with you your E111 certificate. However, we strongly recommend that all volunteers organise their own personal health accident, a travel insurance before they leave their home country.
