1. I have no great difficulties with my parents. But sometimes I have some problems with them. They have their own ideas and views that I sometimes don't share or understand. They often say that I was better when I was younger, and now I am very difficult to socialize with and dumpy. They think that I won't find my place in life. I prefer to settle all our problems peacefully
because they are my parents. They brought me up with loving care. And if I come to them for advice and help, they will do their best and help me to cope with my problems and difficulties.

2. Sometimes my parents don't understand me. They don't understand some problems and things which are very important in a teen's life; for example, the lifestyles of young people, piercing, tattoos, drugs, sex, relationships with friends and teachers. So sometimes I can't tell them everything about my private life. Now I can't remember an instance when my parents helped me in my difficulties. Sometimes, I think, we can forget about the generation gap, but sometimes I see that my parents can't and don't want to understand modern views, ideals and system of values. It is very bad for the new generation.

3. There has always been a generation gap. Elderly people usually compare their childhood and youth with the present, and regard old times as better, always talking about "the good old days". The young, on the other hand, tend to think their times are the best. Young people look at the world with fresh eyes. Everything is new, interesting and innocent to them. They have no responsibilities and sometimes they cannot solve their everyday problems. But they want to cope with them by themselves. So adults shouldn't prevent them from making their own mistakes.
