COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

The course on General Psychology offers students knowledge on the subject, methodology and methods of this discipline, theories and concepts of Psychology.

In the General Psychology Course students will gain awareness of their own personality and brain abilities; develop competence in building and maintaining types of relationships, build skills in conflict prevention and consider behavioral standards that guide relationships.

 

COURSE AIMS

The course provides a foundation for improving quality of life through more positive. caring, and respectful relationships at university, at home, and in the workplace.

Business employers need employees who can participate as a member of a team, teach others new skills, serve clients, exercise leadership, and negotiate work diversity.

These skills are important for success in the workplace.

The Course is recommended for all students regardless of their career cluster. It may be a one-semester one-credit or two or three-credit course, depending on local needs.
