Dear Alice,

Thank you for uour kind letter. It was interesting to read it. Now, I’d like to tell some words about my summer holidays.

I really enjoyed the holidays this year. My family and I travelled to Turkey in August. It was fantastic to see the beautias of the country, its peopie and, of course, to swim in the Medditerranian Sea. When we returned home, then we went to the Southern Urals. We climbed the mountains and enjoyed magnificent views! I like mountains very much.

How are you? Do you like your new house? Have you got a park or a square near it?

Please write to me back.

Best wishes,

Sveta.

Dear Pen Friend,

Hello! My name (1) is Mike Robinson. I (2) am from Bodmin, it’s the town of Cornwall. It (3)takes half an hour to get to the ocean from our place by car. We often (4) go there in the summer. I like swimming very much.

I like football, too. We (5) play football at school. It’s a pity the field is rather small. Bodmin is on the hills and it’s difficult to find a place for the field.

I have already (6) been to London. I have (7) seen the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and other interesting places. I have (8) learnt a lot about the history of London. Have you ever been to London?

My favourite food is fish. My father (9) has a job in the bank. He says that in Australia there are a lot of people from Cornwall. Write soon!
Best wishes,

Mike.
