Hydrorefining of petroleum designing for Salavat Refinery Plant

Objectives

Sulfur and nitrogen compounds utilization is one of serious problem of oil extraction. Recently they were burnt at the flare but the atmosphere pollution was increased as the result. That’s why the attention to this problem nowadays is attracted more and more. The main aim of our project is Salavat Refinery Plant expansion. Our engineering team works at designing hydrorefining equipment. The basic project with initial data was sent to us by AXENS IFP Group Technologies. It also includes technological and principle schemes, heat & material balances, equipment specifications etc.

Research Goals

Now we are to work at the designing step. We plan to finish filling the requisition sheets. It takes quite much time because of a large amount of equipment. Then we are going to start writing next step of technical documentation – process description, technological decisions, and equipment data. After finishing the designing step we are going to begin confirmation step (what is that?).

Expected Results

We expect agreement with client our designing project and we will answer client’s remarks. We also expect Salavat Refinery Plant to be built in distant future grounding at (not clear) our project. Give chemical and technological expectations.
