Live your life to the fullest

I read a Chinese saying some time back and it stuck with me. The saying goes- “We are so busy making a living that we forget to make a life.” This really got me thinking. How true! We are so busy running around in life that we have lost the sense of direction and purpose. The pleasure of living life has given way to the stress and strain of earning a livelihood. Life has become a journey which often leaves most of us discouraged, depressed and drained out. The day’s work gets over but the sour taste lingers on.

Living life was never easy anyway. Only now it has acquired unreliable interpretations. Living life to the fullest is not a new concept but of late it has become more perplexing. We all want so much from life that we end up getting bewildered by the puzzle of life itself.

Living life is no insignificant business. Life is precious. Respect it. Live it with a purpose and live it to the full. Don’t make your life a passive series of coincidences and accidents. You didn’t come into this world to drift in the ocean of life. You are here to LIVE your life. So adjust your sail and guide your way even if it means sailing upstream or against the wind. Don’t just exist- LIVE! And Make your life worthwhile..

Living a contented life is not a matter of chance. Living life to the fullest is a decisive choice that you have to make. Begin HERE and NOW! Take control of your life. Live life the way you want it to be. Remember, there are no universal laws that govern how to live your life nor a perfect recipe for living life that suits all. Paint the canvas of your life in colors that personify you.

Look at life from your perspective and interprete it your own way. Always keep the remote control of your life in your OWN hands. Set your own goals and decide your level of ambition. Be aware of your shortcomings and weaknesses and make conscious efforts to overcome them. After all, they say- “Life consists not in holding good cards, but in playing those you hold well!”

Life is a journey with no destination. The destination is the end, the very end, when we shall all perish. So make your journey as pleasant and memorable as possible. Sense it, experience it and enjoy it each day. Seize the moments and make them worthy of living and remembering. You must remember “your life is not counted by the breaths that you take but by the things that you do to take others’ breathe away.” You need to reckon your life by the pleasant things that you have done for others, the enjoyable moments that you have lived and the fond memories that you can cherish.

Life is much more astonishing than you think it is. Believe that you deserve a happy life, full of abundance and strive to give yourself that life. The beautiful words of Cortia Kent have summed it appropriately- “Love the moment. Each moment is vital. Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed.” Live life to the fullest, seize every moment and live each day as if there is no tomorrow!
