Linkin Park - american alternative rock group.It formed in 1996 and named Xero.Then it named Lincoln Park,but internet domen with such name was engaged, so group changed name to Linkin park.

The group formed by two classmates:Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson(they are in group now).The first studio was Mike`s badroom.There were five boys in group: Mike, Joe, Dave, Rob and Mark.Soon Mark and Dave left group. Since Chester Bennington (and called him on his birthday, on March, 20 of 1999th) came in a group, essence of group became other and boys changed the name on Hybrid Theory. Officially Linkin Park as a group began to come forward only in 2000.
