Responsibilities

 

  • AREA MARKET AND COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

Regularly analyze market trends, PMSM brands performance dynamics, competitive landscape, consumer behaviour & preferences within assigned brands segment in order to define key issues & opportunities for portfolio deployment and consumer engagement. Assess defined issues and opportunities as well as identify and propose relevant initiatives to address those in order to contribute to the development and attainment of the portfolio deployment and consumer engagement strategies of the assigned brands segment.

  • STRATEGIC PORTFOLIO DEPLOYMENT & CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT

Provide input to Area Portfolio Deployment strategy in line with National 3Y Portfolio Strategy, Area priorities and needs by defining objectives and targets for consumer engagement activities within assigned brands segment.

Define necessary touchpoints mix and provide input to Area Consumer Engagement strategy to ensure targeted number of adult consumer contacts and adoption rates within assigned brands segment.

Calibrate brands deployment strategy and consumer engagement plans for the assigned segment with relevant Brand Groups and all other functions involved to ensure alignment with Pan-Russia strategy.

Cascade the agreed strategic plans to all stakeholders in Area field organization for further commercial initiatives proper planning and impactful execution.

 

  • COMMERCIAL INITIATIVES PLANNING

In close collaboration with relevant brand groups develop concepts, mechanics and plans for off-cycle consumer engagement activities and local programs (festivals, plug-ins, and summer activation programs), as well as for personalized and specific targeted consumer engagement activities in order to facilitate adoption and build brands image within the assigned segment, while appropriately addressing brand building issues and opportunities through relevant consumer engagement levels.

Facilitate effective launch plans development for commercial initiatives of the assigned brands segment, by providing required consultancy during plans development to Area and Field offices professionals, assessing proposed plans for potential to provide required impact and obtaining required approvals for further deployment.

Ensure that consumer engagement and portfolio deployment activities and programs within the assigned brands segment in the Area are undertaken in line with agreed strategies and budgets, as well as are planned respecting the principles of the rolling planning approach.

Contribute to the development of comprehensive deployment cycle briefs, by providing required consultancy during national briefs, review and alignment with local peculiarities.

 

  • CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS DEPLOYMENT

Manage execution of targeted and personalized consumer engagement programs on the assigned territory. Ensure excellence in deployment of plug-ins, events and festivals, by getting relevant content from brand groups, managing 3rd party agencies, tracking performance and taking ownership of full-scale event deployment.

Provide guidance and support to Area field offices consumer engagement teams in deploying consumer engagement programs. Track deployment at defined control points, review early feed-back on Area consumer engagement programs deployment, define necessity, propose and agree with brand groups required changes/adjustments, while ensuring the reflection of changes in deployment briefs and tracking templates. Conduct post-deployment evaluation (results & targets achievement), identify areas for improvement and propose action plans.



  • CONSUMER KNOWLEDGE

Participate in adult consumer discovery projects, support in-field monitoring and provide results to central consumer insights and innovations department. Use survey results to improve Area consumer engagement programs based on the obtained insights and knowledge.

  • THIRD PARTIES MANAGEMENT

Manage selected 3rd parties, monitor and control services delivery, ensure adherence to agreements, proper co-ordination, timely proof of performance and payments. Develop constructive relationships with agencies and suppliers; provide agencies with updates on key consumer trends and dynamics, while enhancing their knowledge and consumer understanding in order to ensure effective services. Constantly evaluate agencies performance and provide feedback to ensure that they meet PM standards. Assess level and amount of services required from 3rd party agencies to support segment deployment and consumer engagement activities, provide information to manager and if required participate in new agencies search, bidding and contracting.

 

  • FUNCTIONAL PROCESSES EFFICIENCY & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

 

Monitor efficiency of consumer engagement and brands deployment processes, initiate necessary processes reviews and manage the development of required procedures, guidelines or training programs in order to ensure effectiveness of relevant consumer engagement and brands deployment activities.

 

Staff the team with qualified candidates who best fit the defined Role Profile. Manage employee integration to the company/department and follow up progress in order to support new team member to quickly integrate to the team and gain all the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the assigned accountabilities.

Manage the team by setting individual and group challenging objectives, reviewing and rewarding performance, providing timely feedback and following up the progress to ensure that each team member understands what is expected out of him/her, his/her contribution to departmental / organizational goals and is capable to achieve objectives.

Build an effective team, encourage and promote teamwork and cooperation, support a climate for continuous improvement.

Evaluate and define individual’s development priorities and align those with the needs of the organization. Ensure Individual Development Plans correspond with the development priorities. Encourage employees to take responsibility for their development and proactively seek development and learning opportunities for each team member.

 

  • COMPLIANCE/ ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY

Ensure full compliance with Russian Federation legislation and company policies and procedures.

Adhere to all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules, policies and procedures. Pass through appropriate EHS trainings, apply received knowledge at work.

Inspect and use personal protective equipment as appropriate. Keep assigned work areas clean and orderly. Take an active part in EHS programs. Inform the superior immediately about all violations of EHS requirements, take appropriate measures for their elimination.

Organize business processes at assigned work area in compliance with EHS rules, policies and procedures. Evaluate risks at work places, take appropriate measures for risks reduction. Organize timely trainings for subordinates on safety working methods and practices. Conduct safety instruction, safety traineeship, safety knowledge assessment for subordinates in cases as required by applicable legislation. Ensure work conditions in department (division) in compliance with norms defined by legislation of Russian Federation. Ensure all subordinates adhere to all applicable EHS rules, policies and procedures.

· Work in close cooperation with EHS department to develop and improve departmental safety and job procedures.

Qualification requirements and assessment tools

  • University degree (economic / finance / marketing / management is preferable)
  • Knowledge of English: Upper Intermediate level
  • PC - Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Experienced User
  • Experience - General: 5+ years in FMCG or in BTL;
  • Specific: 2+ years brand managing in FMCG or managing of 2+ accounts in BTL)
