1. Please, prepare your presentation about one UK county in the right way. Also read the ASSESSMENT OF PRESENTATION (I also sent it to youon Sunday 16.09.12) verycarefully!

1. During the lesson we are going to finish the translation of the second part of the text ‘THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’
2. We will also practise the Russian-English back translation of the text ‘THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’, as it will be your task for Monday to do it for a mark.
3. You will have to write a 3-minue presentation on the geography of one of the states of the USA and show it to me.
4. Topic “Countries and nationalities” – Please, fill in the table under the heading ‘Vocabulary studies’ and practise the pronunciation of those proper names.

For Monday 24.09.12

1. Please, be ready for the Russian-English back translation of the text ‘THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’

2. Be ready to work with the table under the heading ‘Vocabulary studies’ orally.

3. Do Exercises 2-6 after the table under the heading ‘Vocabulary studies’.

4. In Ex.2 choose only one destination, write it and hand it to the teacher during the lesson. Be able to read it at the lesson with the correct pronunciation of all the proper names.
