Dear host family,
I’m glad that I have an opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Regina. I’m 16 years old. I live in Tatarstan, Zelenodolsk town. I think our town is a picturesque place. There are so many beautiful flowers, plants, trees and bushes in summer. We have got a lot of nice lakes, rivers. The most famous is Volga River. I like my town so much.

Speaking about myself, I love to spend spare time with my friends. I have a few best friends. We always do something interesting and funny. For example, some time ago,we made a video for our friend Jane to her birthday. We sang a birthday song, danced, congratulated her and did a lot of funny things. I hope she will love it. After school I prefer to read books (especially detective stories), listen to music (my favorite singers are: ……), watch TV, learn English and do other things. My family consists of my father, mother, younger sister and me. My mother’s name is Sveta. She loves to cook. My dad’s name is Marat. He likes to go fishing. My sister`s name is Kristina. She is a pupil. Her hobby is taking care of pets. By the way, our family has a dog, a cat and a hamster. We love them so much. They are the part of our family. Being at home, I like to clean up the rooms, wash dishes, water plants, and help my grandmother in the garden.

My family is very friendly. We try to spend our free time together. For example, we go fishing, gather mushrooms, and pick up the berries, go together to the trip in the South of our country. This summer we went to the Black sea by car. We visited a famous city Sochi. Winter Olympic Games will take place there in 2014. It was the most incredible travelling in my life.

Well, I want to tell you about my school. It is not so big, but it’s not so small. At the same time it is very spacious and light. Mostly, I love my English lessons. And maybe that’s the reason why I want to be an interpreter. I watch English movies; listen to the music, read English classical books and learn poems. I really want to be a good interpreter. I will try to do my best to make my dreams come true!
