We'll start with analyzing the 4-th paragraph of the story "Going on a Trip", in which you expected to have underlined all the infinitives and to answer the question 'Isn't it what is called syntactical parallelism? Also find in the paragraph a case of inversion.

Also we will see what we can do about the representations of several meanings of the verb to burst.

There's that the short story with no title, that tells us about boats and huge cranes.

There must be a list of the things and people one sure to see on board a huge liner and five true/false statements regarding the contents of this description.

Be prepared to check the task you did on transport the extract of which you can see below

 

 


Refresh the dialogue about being scared to fly learn to act it out in class.

Add an introduction to to say about the setting of the dialogue and be prepared to present your happy ending of this story or just the opposite as you like it.

 

Together with your usual partner write a script of your dialogue which you will want to stage and impress us with. Introduce into it some of the essential vocabulary and sentences from Arakin's book. Pls, avoid using the verbs to say, to tell, to ask, and to answer. Instead use the verbs and phrases from the list with those special phrases for indirect speech.
