Why English became an international language and why is it important to me?
Nowadays English is an international language which is spoken almost everywhere.
I think that English has become an international language because of a reason from history. In the XVII - XVIII cc. the North America was colonized by British. Then Indians who lived there started to speak it. So as the colonies had been growing, English language has been extended over the North America. Next, people, who had moved there for a constant place of residence from different counties, had to learn English to live there without any problems and to create families. When some of their children had moved from America, they’ve taught others how to speak English. So English was spread all around the world.
Learning English is very important to me. The first reason is that I want connect my life with it and it’ll help me in my future job. Secondly, it helps when I’m traveling. Also, I chat with my pen-friends from Sweden and Scotland in English.
In conclusion I can say that English is a very interesting for me and there’re no doubts that it will be popular for a very long time.
