Carol’s Last Christmas
For Christmas, my family _________________ (go) to Madrid. We _________________ (take) the first plane and we _________________ (arrive) in Madrid at 7:00 o'clock. My mother and my sister _________________ (buy) a lot of food in the supermarket. My father and brother _________________ (call) our grandparents to wish them a Merry Christmas. We _________________ (cook) a gorgeous Christmas dinner. My uncle _________________ (come) with a bottle of wine and some eggnog. My aunt _________________ (bring) the music and some presents. We _________________ (finish) the preparation for the ceremony and _________________ (make) a list of presents for Santa Claus. Next morning, when we _________________ (get up) we saw the presents under the Christmas Tree and we _________________ (be) happy.
