“NEW DIRECTIONS IN RUSSIAN PUBLIC POLICY”

A FORUM ON RUSSIA’S FUTURE

September 25, 2013

2:00PM to 6:00PM

RANEPA Building 2

Room 237

82 Prospekt Vernadskogo

In the past several years, Russia has begun to assume a more active and assertive role in global policy discussions across a wide range of issues, of which the current joint effort with the U.S. on Syria is only one example. Russia’s presidency of APEC in 2012, of the G-20 in 2013, and of the G-8 in 2014 represents a new era for Russia’s deep engagement with pressing global issues such as the world economy, environment, energy, and governance.

RANEPA’s new MGPP program is hosting a forum on the afternoon of September 25, 2013 with talks by experts from Russia, Europe, the US, and Asia to explore different aspects of Russia’ future public policy imperatives. The Forum is open to all.
