Snow leopard lives in the mountainous regions of Asia and China, in the Himalayas, Tibet and the Altai Mountains. Snow leopard – carnivorous, its main food is cattle, like mountain-goat. But it also hunts rabbits and other small animals.
The reason that it has become endangered is illegal hunting for it’s fur,
skin of this animal is worth 60 thousand dollars. In all countries where they live, Snow Leopard is protected. Number snow leopard has increased and today there are about six thousand individuals.
