Dear Madam/Sir,

My name is Alina Andreichyk. I am 20 years old and I will graduate from Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade with a bachelor degree in June 2014. My specialty is International Economy.

The main reason why I have chosen Canada is because Canadian education is highly valued around the world and its government invests regularly significant resources in the developing higher education. Since innovation is one of the key components of Canadian educational institutes, students will have an opportunity to use its all updated methods of studying. Additionally, taking into account the fact that a multitude of foreign students are enrolled every year in Canada, I am sure that it provides good moral conditions and welcoming atmosphere for studying on the principles of multicultural respect among people of different nationalities. Moreover, a Canadian government invests regularly significant resources in the developing higher education.

Generally, almost all Ukrainian universities pay attention to studying common spheres of International Economy. Thus, I started to search University in Canada which has favorable reviews and a durable experience in providing a certain concentration in Business Studies for Post-Degree Diploma. This kind of program has Vancouver Island University which has already been working for 45 years and combining both academic and practical knowledge. Among the variety of disciplines I have chosen Marketing which nowadays is a crucial component of Economy. In the fact, there exists wide range of vacant jobs in Marketing on Ukrainian market, but this realm does not have enough qualified specialists. Hence, I decided to receive international experience in studying Marketing which I would like to insert in improving this sphere in Ukraine.

I was applying to visa and got a refusal on 25^th of April for such reasons: purpose of visit and savings on my and parents bank accounts do not conform to my parents' declared income. First of all, I would like to explain that my purpose of visit is to broaden my outlook, improve the qualification and, of course, learn English on the more profound level. These attainments will provide a solid advantage for getting job among the Transnational Corporations in Ukraine, which give precedence to specialist with the international experience and fluent English. Thus, Canadian education would be first step towards my future career. Secondly, savings on my bank accounts were accumulated thanks to parents' additional income such as leasing of apartment, father's severance and retirement payments in addition to his salary and mother's extra revenue in the position of head nurse. More details are presented below.

My parents support me to sponsor my studies at Vancouver Island University and to cover any other expenses for my stay. I have already paid 7 095 CAD $ for the first term of education in Vancouver Island University and I have bank account with 23 000 $ dollars to spend towards my education, living expenses in Canada. Also my father received a severance pay in sum 97443 UAN (8500 $) in connection with retirement which he undertakes to spend towards my expenditures and needs during the period of studying. Additionally, he started to receive retirement pay at an average sum 3972 UAH and continues to work in the position of specialist of the 1^st rank of Administration of Head Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv. Moreover, except that my mother works, also she leases a flat which brings an income in the amount of 5000 UAH (450 $) every month. All the documents are attached to my application.
