16:00 – Odessa city tour (Opera House, which is the second best in Europe, the massive Potemkin stairs, beautiful palaces and churches; monuments to Deribas, Catherine the Great, The Duke de Richelieu, and Lenin)

18:00 – Check at the hotel

19:00 – Dinner at the restaurant.

Day 2 (B/L/D) overnight in Odessa28^th of June, Saturday 2014

08:00 – Breakfast

09:00 – Guided tour to Odesa Сommercial Sea Port ( It is one of the largest ports of the Black and Azov Seas basins, located in the north-western part of the Black Sea on the historically founded merchant ways between East and West. The port is a leader in cargo handling volumes among the ports of Ukraine and the largest passenger port on the Black Sea.)

11:30 – Excursion around the "Wine Cultural Center Shabo" with wine tasting. It is located directly at production complex of "Shabo" Company, in one of the ancient European wine-making regions, its traditions were established in ancient times. It is the exclusive cultural center in Ukraine combining operating advanced enterprise, ancient wine cellars, degustation room, expositions of modern sculptures and architecture, and unique Wine and Wine-making Museum. During the tour at "Wine Cultural Center" you visit manufacture, museums and historic cellars, storage, the Dionysus fountain and become familiar with product TM "Shabo".

13:00 – Lunch.

15:30 – Visiting "Evrika" Ltd. It is vegetable farm with modern irrigation system: 300 ha of tomatoes, 300 ha of pears, 150 hа of onion, 200 hа of potatoes. The main brand of the company is " Babusyna gryadka " – canned vegetables and tomato sauce. The excursion to the farm consists from two parts: 1. Visiting fields where the company grows its vegetables; 2. Visiting food processing enterprise where canned vegetables and tomato sauce are produced.

17:00 – Return to Odessa.

18:00 – Dinner at the restaurant.

Day 3 (B/L /D) overnight in Mankivka 29^th of June, Sunday 2014

07:00 – Breakfast

08:00 – Check out from the hotel. Departure to technical visit.

10:00 – Visiting famous mixed farm named after Posmitmiy. It was the successful farm during Soviet Union times and now shows the best results during harvests. There you can see breeding animals and flocks and herds. Farm has 8000 ha of land where they grow sunflower, barley, winter and spring wheat and buckwheat. Farm "Posmitmiy" is one the department of the Agro Holding Privat Agro.

11:30 – Departure to other technical visit.

12:30 – Lunch on the way.

14:00– Visiting "SPE"Raise-Maksymko” UF CJS (9000 ha, winter wheat, barley, soy, rape, part of big Ukrainian agricultural corporation UF CJS "SPE"Rise-Agro" with 600 000 ha of arable land)

CJSC SPE „RISE-AGRO“ High growth and elaboration technologies on the modern factories, which are producing grain, industrial, fodder crops of the native and foreign selection. Wide program of the scientific, production and demonstration experiments of the tillage, plant protection, mineral nutrition, seed production systems. Total area contains 130 000 ha. 10:30 – Visit to the park “Sofiivka” (The beautifully landscaped Park Sofiyivka in the city of Uman was laid out in 1796 by the Polish noble Stanislaw Potocki and named after his wife, Sofiya, of Greek descent, to whom he eventually gave the park as a present. Sofiya was known for her exceptional beauty, and the park turned out to be no less beautiful. Sofiya herself was said to take part in designing some sections of the park — it was she who introduced ancient Greek and Roman mythological motifs. At present, the park occupies a territory of almost 155 hectares (one hectare equals 2.5 acres)

12:30 – Lunch in Ukrainian village family in Polyanetske.

10:00 – Visiting two farms which belong to the one family:

OJSC Terezyne. Total land area – 2,684 ha. The number of cattle, heads (including young) – 2223. Design capacity - 500 dairy cows. Equipped with eight voluntary milking stations, the average load on each - 65-70 cows per day. Species - Ukrainian black-spotted Holstein dairy and first-third lactation. The daily yield per cow - 28 kg, milking frequency of 2.2 times. Daily gross production of milk - 6 tons of bacterial contamination and somatic tys./sm3 20-50 - 80-100 tys./sm3.

and ­ – Elita, Ltd. Every year Elita, Ltd sells 8-12 heads of young breeder per one main sow, 98% of which are of the class “elite”. Every month about 500 semen dozes are sold to the farms of Ukraine and private households. 13:00 – VisitingEthnographic complex "Ukrainian Village". "Ukrainian Village" is a unique, comfortable and exclusively beautiful place near Kyiv where you can feel Ukrainian traditions and culture, taste Ukrainian cuisine and have a good rest at real Ukrainian paradise.

At this complex You can visit the following:

– Unique open air ethno-historic museum. It consists of 6 ancient authentic houses built in 19-th century. During the excursion with the help of different master-classes you will be involved into the Ukrainian cultural atmosphere and everyday life in Ukrainian village.
