Every trainer must be safe, and should be responsible for specific muscle group. Every gym has: cardio, free weights and trainers zones. In a cardio zone people can train endurance, run for long distances, and do other cardio exercises. In a free weight zone people can do different strength exercises with dumbbells and barbells to pump their muscles. In a trainers zone people can do exercises in specially equipped trainers. Every trainer is training specific group of muscles. Unlike trainers, dumbbells and barbells can train multiple muscle groups, while the trainers are training one or two muscle groups. Mostly people use dumbbells and barbells. Also in the gym can be a pool, but not every gym has it. Almost all gyms have shower.
