XIX. Your idea of a true friendship

Sometimes we ask ourselves who a true friend is. And in most cases we can’t find a definite answer because for some people friends are people who live nearby. But maybe these people confuse friends with neighbors and just acquaintances. But for me a true friend is a person whom I can rely on in difficult situations, who will give me a helping hand if necessary. A true friend will never let me down, be envious of my success, gossip about me behind my back. This person will never forget me and put me out of his life. I think that a person can feel protected with a real friend next to him/her, because he/she knows that a friend will support and help. You can share your emotions with your friend.

Our life a difficult thing and very often makes its own corrections. And in such situation it’s important not to lose a contact with our friends.

Nowadays there are a lot of methods of finding friends (clubs, Internet – the most popular). In such a way you may find a person with whom you have common hobbies, views, interests.

I’m happy because I have a true friend. As for me there can be many friends, that’s why I said “a friend”. We grew up in the same yard. Of course, sometimes we quarrel, but all the time we try to find some compromise for the sake of our friendship.
