Take all the food items left from breakfast back to the main kitchen. Never leave anything in the lounge pantry. | |||
The lounge staff delivers the lunch items by 11.30; if it is not possible to leave the Lounge, the Imperial (#201) or Room Service (#223) staff should be asked for assistance. | |||
Make sure all lunch items are prepared in accordance with the food selection list (see attachment). | |||
Wipe the buffet clean before placing the lunch items. | |||
Prepare the buffet for lunch by 12.00: take off the food wrap, put the service cutlery, unplug the toaster & put it to the kitchen. | |||
Make sure that the buffet area is clean & attractive in presentation. | |||
Put enough plates on display, coffee cups & saucers – on the coffee machine. | |||
Take the used dirty linen to the laundry immediately after breakfast. | |||
Clean the lounge pantry & prepare the “mise en place” for the afternoon shift. | |||
Call to the Housekeeping (#146) & invite to clean the Lounge. Cleaning should be done right after breakfast: vacuum cleaning, dust wiping, bathroom cleaning. | |||
Check that the entire area is completely clean. | |||
Replenish the snacks constantly. | |||
Turn the light on to the regime 2 (12.00 – 18.00), regime 3 – at 18.00. | |||
Prepare the food items kept in the lounge for next day breakfast: milk jars, jams, honey, cereals, dry fruits & nuts. Bring oranges, grapefruits for juices from the store, fold the napkins, polish cutlery & glasses. |
