#1. Document the location of the receiving phone. (This could be your work phone, friends phone, etc.)

#2. Wrap your iPhone in bubble wrap, and place in a box. (Packing Peanuts Optional) Phone can be on or off, but the Post Office prefers it off, with the battery removed. (Unless of course since its an iPhone, those hacks at Apple don’t believe their users are smart enough to remove batteries, and therefore you must be exempt for this reason, unless you are way over top and own an iPhone 6S.

#3. Do not leave box open as seen in Step #2. above, you’ll want to go ahead and tape it up. If you do not own one of these fancy tape guns, skip this step and go to Step #5.

#4. Drive the box to the nearest Post Office.

#5. Purchase a Shipping Label from the Clerk, you’ll need the address from Step #1. Don’t forget to purchase the Insurance as well. If you did not previously tape your box, this is where you’ll want to demand the Clerk do it for you. Just tell them you pay their salary. After all you are an iPhone owner, you’re entitled.

#6. Leave the package with the clerk.

Viola! Now the USPS will forward you’re phone, with your voice mail to the desired location.
