Election campaign Mitt Romney 2012

Election debates will be held between U.S. President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romneyon 3 December 2012 in New York. We invite journalists for participation in debate.

The 21st century began with terror, war, and economic calamity. It is our duty to steer it onto the path of freedom, peace, and prosperity. Romney won't just represent one party, he will represent one nation. He will try to show the best of America, at a time when only our best will do. It is time to change course in the Middle East. America must have confidence in our cause, clarity in our purpose, and resolve in our might.

The right course for America is not to raise taxes on people, not to go out and borrow excessively, but

instead to live within our means and to have tax policies that encourage job creators and small businesses to grow their business and add employees.

The national debt is over $16 trillion. It's time for a president who will lead us out of this spending inferno.We believe in free people and free enterprise, not redistribution. The right course is to create growth and wealth, not to redistribute wealth.

Mitt Romney campaign has a five-step plan to see jobs recover in this country.

1. Take advantage of our energy resources – oil, coal, gas, renewables.

2. Open trade – particularly in Latin America and crack down on China when they cheat.

3. Put us on track to have a balanced budget.

4. Make sure we have schools and training programs that prepare us for the jobs of today and tomorrow. Restore economic freedom in this country. The taxes, the regulations, the burdens applied by government are crushing economic freedom, are crushing entrepreneurs. That has to end. We have to restore the American dream or our economy will stay in the doldrums.

Governor Romney's pledge to oppose any attempt to raise taxes on the American people: "I'm Mitt Romney. I'm proud to be the only major candidate for President to sign the Tax Pledge. The others have not. "I signed the Tax Pledge because I want everyone to know where I stand. We've got to get taxes down and grow our economy.
